Light house cafe is hosting a beer boot festival from 1st June till 31st August. The challenge is to complete one glass boot filled with beer in as little time as you can.
At the end of the festival the competitor who holds the best chug time receives light house coupons worth 25000.
Along with the beer we also happened to try two of their cocktail buckets, namely power beer and beer sangria. The power Beer was beer infused with jäger, old monk and orange juice. Its perfect when you can’t choose whether you want a cocktail, rum or just some chilled beer. With the quantity of 1500 ml it’s the drink to share with your date or best friend after work. Beer sangria was wheat and lager beer infused with fruits and vegetables such as apples, pomegranates , cucumbers etc. It was a pass for us because we didn’t seem to taste any beer but if you’re a fan of sangrias in general we recommend you give this a go.
We tried their cheese gherkin balls stuffed with mashed potato and cheese. These paired extremely well with the beer. We tried their margarita and I am dope pizzas and both of them were think crust pizzas, with cheese and sauce in right proportion. The toppings weren’t loaded but we still think the taste makes up for it. We definitely recommend you try them out.
Overall we’d rate light house a 4 out of 5 for the ambience. The decor is beautiful and the music is just right. They come up with a lot of quirky challenges which include food as well. It’s the place you want to go to with friends for a fun evening.
