Quarter canteen is a Bollywood themed restaurant located at Linking Road. The decor is fun, dramatic yet very classy.
The walls are illustrated with the most iconic Bollywood movie dialogues.
The first thing we tried there was the vegetable wonton soup which was a clear soup that pairs perfectly with a dark rainy day in Mumbai. A really fun element about this place is that all their cocktails are served quarter bottles since they like to maintain the desi feel of drinking straight from a bottle.
We ordered the teekha Mexican which was a mix of tequila, chilli, lime and a dash of sugar and salt and Kiss of Gulabo which was similar but had hints of cranberry and rose syrup in it. What we liked most about them is that they weren’t extremely diluted and we could still taste the alcohol.
For the appetiser we were served paneer tikka marinated in pudhina chutney. In the end we called for mushroom babycorn tikka masala that paired perfectly with some warm butter naan. The portion was again big and had all the flavours we craved.

Overall we loved the ambiance of the place. It’s a cozy place where you can walk in after a long day of work to unwind and enjoy give your taste buds a treat. We must mention that the service is slow but we can assure you that the food is worth the wait
