Sammy Sosa is a small place in Oshiwara with a really nice ambience and décor. Their menu and the décor is inspired from Mexico. The owner and the staff were really friendly and helpful.
The following were the items we tried there;
1. Chilly and Cheese Fries
This dish was our regular potato fries loaded with melted cheese and small pieces of green chilli. This dish was served with their salsa sauce. I loved the fries, the combination tasted so good. Priced at Rs.190.
2. Nachos Chicos
Freshly prepared corn flour chips topped with hot and scrumptious melted cheese, with chilli beans. This was served to us with 3 different sauces, salsa sauce, chilli jalapeño sauce and mango sauce. The nachos with the different sauces were so delicious that you can’t stop eating them. Priced at Rs.320.
3. Taco Bowl
This was a great visual and gastronomical treat with stupendous corn, tortilla basket carrying the goodness of coloured peppers, jalapeños, olives and mushrooms which are engulfed with cheddar cheese and sour cream. The delightful company of cilantro rice rounds up the meal. This wasn’t as taste appealing to me as the rest of the dishes. The tortilla basket was good but I wasn’t a fan of the rice though. Priced at Rs.360.
4. Goey Chocolate Cake
As the name suggests, this dessert consisited of goey chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate syrup. The moment you take a bite, the cake melts in your mouth. It was so delicious. Priced at Rs.229.
5. Virgin Margarita in Strawberry
Fruit pulp blended in lime juice and crushed ice. This drnk was very refreshing and tasty. Priced at Rs.160.
6. Beer
Brody’s bourbon flavoured beer with a touch of honey. The beer was really smooth and was something different from the mainstream lines.
